Responsibilities:

Do you have a passion for helping others achieve their health goals? Are you a friendly and communicative individual with strong computer skills? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nutrition Assistant II to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients on their journey to optimal health and well-being.

Responsibilities: 

* Provide exceptional customer service:

* Greet patients warmly, answer questions, and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.

* Assist with patient intake: Gather patient information, including dietary history and health concerns.

* Schedule appointments and manage patient records 

* Utilize our electronic health record system to efficiently manage patient data and appointments.

* Prepare and maintain patient education materials:

* Create and distribute materials on nutrition topics, recipes, and meal-planning strategies.

* Collaborate with registered dietitians:

* Assist with data entry, meal planning, and other tasks as assigned.

* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

* One (1) years food service experience required.

* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Fire Safety card within 90 days of employment

 This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
