We are currently hiring for a Nursing Supervisor for SL Idaho Cardiology Clinic in Boise!

What You Can Expect:

* Direct supervisor for clinical staff (CMA's, RN's)
* Collaborate with Practice Manager, PAS Staff & Clinical staff on clinic work-flow process improvement
* Create/Edit/Publish clinical staff schedules & staff open shifts from sick calls and PTO for clinical staff
* Attendance tracking, time-card approvals and hiring of new clinical staff
* Precepting and onboarding new clinical staff
* HR duties, including performance reviews for clinical staff
* Attend/Lead department meetings
* Order and dispose of medications as appropriate. Manage Crash Cart and medical supplies & logs.
* Oversee SMART Program and overall compliance.

Schedule:  Monday - Friday - 4, 10 hour shifts with variable day off.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 3 years' relevant experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in Cardiology is ideal.
* Prior leadership experience

Responsibilities:

The Nursing Supervisor, is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

* Provides day-to-day oversight of the unit/department(s) assigned. 

* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met. 

* Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels. 

* Collaborates with all members of care provision team to share knowledge and plan for optimal outcomes. 

* Serves as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift. 

* Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices. Serves as expert and resource to staff. 

* Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements. 

* Assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments. 

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree 
* Experience: 3 years' relevant experience 
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
