We are hiring for a Nursing Supervisor at Boise Internal Medicine Clinic!
What You Can Expect:
The Nursing Supervisor will assist with the following:
-Supports the Clinical staff and the PKP Manager at this large site
-Attends Provider meetings, huddles, and lead clinical staff meetings at PKP
-Responsible for OJT, EOC, SMART, POCT, or delegation thereof
-TLC sign off and completion from staff
-Approximately 30 clinical team members on site
-Assists with staffing, sick call coverage, and PTO
-Oversees medication ordering, COVID Vaccines, and delegation of duties to the clinical team within their scope
-Prepares orientation schedules for MA-T's, ACAP, and new employees
-Creates and communicates new processes and workflows within the clinic for best patient care and outcomes
-Stays up to date with clinical workflows, changes, and best practices
This position will work directly with the Clinic Manager, Site Medical Director, and MA Lead to manage the large Internal Medicine Site.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
Qualifications:
* Education: Nursing Degree
* Experience: 3 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities:
The Nursing Supervisor, is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
* Provides day-to-day oversight of the unit/department(s) assigned.
* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met.
* Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels.
* Collaborates with all members of care provision team to share knowledge and plan for optimal outcomes.
* Serves as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift.
* Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices. Serves as expert and resource to staff.
* Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements.
* Assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 3 years' relevant experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
