Responsible for the direction and management of the organization's journey to excellence in patient care and work environment, aligned w the evidenced based American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet or Pathway Programs. Works in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Enterprise VP for Nursing Excellence and Professional Development to establish a vision for nursing 
excellence grounded the nursing professional practice model. Program direction and management includes support of activities, structures, and processes that promote an optimal work environment for professional nurses and inter-professional members, resulting in outstanding patient care outcomes and nurse engagement. An understanding of the required standards and performance improvement 
strategies will be required. Strategies include assessment of workflow-related processes, research, criteria development, measurement, and evaluation.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* 4 Years of progressive nursing leadership, education, or program management experience.
* Previous experience in Magnet, Pathway or Planetree hospital preferred
* Master's degree is required.
