Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Nursing Education and Research Scientist is responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, and teaching within the nursing residency and practice fellowship programs and nursing educational programs for OSF HealthCare. This position will identify, develop, and support clinical and nursing research and grants. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: MSN with PhD within 7 years of hire into the position Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse Nurse Executvie Certification within 2 years of hire into the position Experience: -7 years of clinical experience 3 years of progressively more complex work-related experience including formal or informal teaching -Demonstrated knowledge of nursing research with greater than 2 years of experience Other skills/knowledge: -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
