Responsibilities:

In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner works together with an orthopedic trauma team to treat patients and support trauma program. The Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner will participate in the care of patients in the operating room and surgery, pre-op and post-op care and on the floor. Will coordinate care with other services and evaluate and help manage patients in the emergency room.

Qualifications:

NP State Certification.
DEA License.

1-3 years prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Knowledge of Nurse Practitioner principles and techniques.

1-3 years prior experience in orthopedics is preferred, however willing to train the right candidate.
