Responsibilities:

In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Nurse Practitioner Orthopedics works together with an orthopedic trauma team to treat patients and support trauma program. The
Nurse Practitioner Orthopedics will participate in the care of patients in the operating room and surgery, pre-op and post-op care and on the floor. Will coordinate care with other services and evaluate and help
manage patients in the emergency room.

Qualifications:

1-3 years prior experience as an NP. Knowledge of principles and techniques

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Nurse Practitioner certification from an accredited association.

Must be able to meet credentialing requirements.

Licensed by the State of California, Board of Registered Nurse National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner DEA License

Team leader, excellent communication skills, commitment to providing patient care in a team setting
