Responsibilities:

Day Full Time Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.

Position Summary:

Mercy San Juan Medical Center Cath Lab Services performs about 2500 procedures a year in our 3 Cath Lab rooms. We are an accredited chest pain center and perform peripheral and cardiac procedures.

The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.

This position shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health. 

Qualifications:

$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.

 Employee Referral Eligible position.

Minimum:

* Minimum one (1) year critical care RN experience within the last three (3) years.
* Will consider 1 year Level I and/or Level II ED RN experience in lieu of critical care experience within the last 3 years.
* Candidates must have cardiac rhythms and basic cardiac hemodynamics and anatomy training
* Current CA RN license
* Current AHA BLS and ACLS
* Ability to wear lead aprons for an extended length of time during procedures
* Other certifications may be required
* Call required

Preferred:

* Cardiac Cath Lab experience
