Overview: Centurion is the leading provider of correctional healthcare nationwide. We are proud to begin our new partnership with the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction to provide healthcare services at the newly opened Long-Term Acute Care Unit within the Central Prison Healthcare Complex in Raleigh, NC. We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Administrator to join our team. Responsibilities: The Nurse Administrator is responsible for managing nursing services within the 60-bed LTAC/LTC at Central Prison Hospital in Raleigh. Additional responsibilities include managing nursing staff and full participation in employee relations; planning, coordinating, reporting on, directing, and supervising delivery of nursing services; and working collaboratively with DAC clinical leadership to meet service delivery requirements of a contract agreement between Centurion and the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. Some direct care may be required. Adherence to NC DAC and Centurion policy and procedure required. Qualifications: * NC (or compact state) RN license * Previous leadership experience * Must be a Registered Nurse. Minimally, candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Health and Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, related field. Master's degree preferred. * Experience as a nursing administrator or manager in a hospital, skilled nursing, long-term acute care, multi-specialty healthcare clinic, correctional health, or other healthcare environment. * Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with staff and institutional administration. * Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include criminal background check.
