Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Allied Universal(r) is hiring a Nuclear Security Training Instructor. The Security Training Instructor (STI) implements the regulatory required Training and Qualification program. An instructor leads training for Security Force Members, conducts qualifications, tracks compliance requirements, develops lesson plans and training materials, and provides training administration including record keeping.  The STI is responsible for conducting live-fire training as well as drills and exercises using simulated training weapons and maintains all necessary armorer and firearms instructor qualifications.  The STI employs a systematic approach to training using the elements of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.  The STI utilizes the Corrective Action Program to systematically initiate, trend, analyze, and resolve training improvements.  This position is responsible for State of Pennsylvania required licensing training. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.

Training Coordinators assist the Training Supervisor in planning, scheduling, and conducting the Security Training program.  Conducts training of all new employees and the continuing training of all security personnel assigned to the site.  Prepares training materials and conducts training classes, as necessary.  Position is responsible for development of lesson plans and materials, range activity and maintenance, and maintaining records. This position also requires interface with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure that training lesson plans and materials are developed to support regulatory requirements and task needs to support excellent performance on the part of security force members
* Support the management of the training program in taking care of facilities, equipment, and supplies
* Recommend corrective actions, changes to requirements, improvements/modifications, or program enhancements
* Conduct training classes/OJT/individual instruction 

QUALIFICATIONS:   

* High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
* Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements
* Experience should also include skills with small arms, small unit tactics, and compound defense
* Must be able to obtain and maintain state and national certifications for a firearms instructor
* Candidates must have at least three (3) years of prior experience in law enforcement, security or related military field, preferably with an emphasis in training or teaching. 
* Prior Supervisory and/or CSO experience preferred
