Nuclear Medicine Technologist - 4x10 Schedule | HVI Charlotte Market

Novant Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our exceptional team supporting the Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) Charlotte Market. This full-time opportunity features a 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) with rotating coverage between our Huntersville, Charlotte, and Matthews clinics.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You'll work alongside physicians, preparing patients and operating state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment to produce critical diagnostic scans that directly impact patient care.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.

* Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.  
* Licensure/Certification: 
* Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB - RT(N) or CNMT, required.
* IV Credentialed, required.
* Applicable state license, required.

* Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs.
