Responsibilities:

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an additional Newborn Pediatric Hospitalist to join our established pediatric hospitalist team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.

The Practice

* Work alongside our Pediatrix‑affiliated pediatric intensivists, hospitalists and neonatologists
* Dedicated newborn nursing staff trained in transitional, newborn and couplet care
* Certified Lactation Specialist support 365 days/year 
* 58-Bed Level 3 NICU with 24/7 in house Neonatology coverage
* Neonatologists/NICU team cover overnight emergences in the newborn nursery
* Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery 
* Academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
* Clinical responsibilities include:
* Newborn nursery examinations
* Circumcisions 
* Pediatric resident and medical student education
* (No delivery attendance required)
