Neuropsychologist / Rehabilitation Psychologist - Inpatient Rehab and Day Neuro

PRN (as needed)-hours vary

  Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience and internal equity.  PRN rate $70.

Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) Lakeway has an opening for a full-time Neuropsychologist.   We are part of a neuro continuum that offers outpatient day programming for both our brain injury and spinal cord patient population. This position will support both our inpatient rehabilitation hospital and our day neuro outpatient setting. Our hospital is located in Lakeway Texas in the scenic hill country on the southern shores of Lake Travis. Lakeway is a resort community about 25 miles west of downtown Austin. The city offers an outdoor lifestyle with a 65 mile long lake, golf courses, tennis courts, marinas, a private airport, 100 acres of parkland hiking and biking trails, and nearly 500 acres of greenbelts.

Responsibilities:

A Neuropsychologist provides psychodiagnostic evaluations, psychological counseling and crisis intervention to patients and families. Conducts neuropsychological evaluations and/or testing. Provides recommendations and consultations to staff members regarding patient care matters.

The ideal candidate will have had experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting working with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate behavioral interventions, cognitive assessments and specific neuropsychology batteries. The neuropsychologist is part of our psychology team that works in conjunction with licensed counselors.

Qualifications:

* Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, EdD) in Psychology, Board Certified or Board Certification eligible in Neuropsychology. 
* One or more years of post-doctoral experience in practice of psychology preferred. 
* Licensed or license eligible in the State of Texas
