Responsibilities:
Position Summary
The Department of Psychology at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team of psychologists and counselors. The ideal candidate will have experience in a rehabilitation setting as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes rehabilitation physicians, nurses, therapists, and other clinical professionals. A strong background in rehabilitation neuropsychology is preferred.
This position will be split between our Dallas Day Neuro Program and our Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide both assessment and intervention services, including brief bedside cognitive assessments and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations.
* Offer consultation to physicians and other interdisciplinary team members.
* Provide education to patients and families.
* Participate in program development, clinically based research, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
* PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Health Psychology
* Completion of an APA accredited internship
* Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with emphasis in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
* Eligibility for board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
* Licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas
