Responsibilities:

As our Neurologist, you will help patients in Prescott, AZ, experiencing neurological conditions receive expert diagnosis, advanced treatment, and ongoing health management so they can improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive neurological care, performing a mix of general and advanced procedures. You will assess, diagnose, and treat diverse patient conditions including MS, Parkinson's, Dementia, and Stroke, conduct procedures like EMG-NCV and EEG, manage inpatient consults, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

To be successful in this role, you must be board certified or board eligible, have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and a profound commitment to patient-centered care, with the ability to manage a busy outpatient clinic and participate in a rotational call schedule.

* Population: MS, Parkinson's, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Seizures, Stroke, Balance Issues,  Neuropathy, Migraine, ALS, Ataxia, Bell's Palsy, Cerebral PalsyBrain        
* 15-18 total patients per day
* Inpatient: When on-call varies 0-3 per day
* Consults: 13-15 per week, Consults are 40 mins
* Monday-Thursday; 8am-4pm clinic patients.  Inpatients before 8am, lunch, or 4pm. Friday 8am-12pm in clinic
* Procedures: EMG - NCV, EEG, Lumbar Puncture, Botox, Occipital Blocks, Myobloc
* Call: 9 days per month with one weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
* Support from General Surgery, all Surgical Subspecialties, Pathology, and Radiology

Qualifications:

Required

* MD or DO Degree and Board Certification/Eligible 
* Completed ACGME accredited fellowship training and/or current ABMS Board Certification in Neurology
* Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
* Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
