Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network/Systems Administrator to Install, operate, and maintain advanced Audio-Visual components, Video Information Display Systems, and Video Teleconferencing Systems in support of GovCIO customers. . This position will be located in OCONUS Location and will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
Installs, operates, and maintains advanced Audio-Visual components, Video Information Display Systems, and Video Teleconferencing Systems in support of GovCIO customers. Worksites are in a deployed environment with comparable amenities to military living conditions. Situations call for a high level of adaptability and creative thinking while keeping a high standard of work ethic. Operational tempo can be fluid. Performs preventive and periodic maintenance of AV systems in accordance with published Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) document guidance. Conducts business interface with directorate-level customers and maintains good relationships with contacts. Maintains illustrative materials, drawings, sketches, and diagrams. Maintains onsite technical documentation related to a variety of AV projects in the IT environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including department leaders, project managers, and project leaders to ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation.
* Installation, operate, and maintain the configuration of Audio-Visual Systems.
* Install and configure AV equipment. Maintain projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers, and control systems, ensuring optimal performance.
* Use various calibration and test equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues with AV systems, including audio, video, and network connectivity problems and VTC systems minimizing downtime.
* Provide immediate, on-site technical support during daily battle rhythm events, meetings to ensure seamless AV operations, and address any real-time issues.
* Perform routine testing, preventive maintenance and VTC systems to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and meets performance standards.
* Maintain accurate records of systems, site tools, system repairs, as-built system configurations, and service reports through Service Now dashboard.
* Track and manage inventory of AV components, systems, and tools ensuring that spare parts are readily available for repairs.

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience
BS with 0-2 yrs experience
Clearance: TS SCI
* Must be able to maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance.
* Valid and Current U.S. Driver's License and passport.
* Must attain an AVIXA CTS certification within 180 calendar days of employment
* Strong oral, interpersonal and written communication skills required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Understanding of AV principles and practices.
* Ability to prioritize and switch between projects.

* Ability to coordinate projects involving input from multiple participants.
* Experience with SharePoint, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
* Experience with AV control systems, videoconferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup, and calibration.
* Experience with audio systems.
* Experience with Cisco VTC systems.
* AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification.
* Documentation: Read and interpret floor plans and technical docs
* Experience with AV related programming files, diagrams, system settings, as-builts.
* Experience with Installation and programming with Crestron: SIMPL.
* Certifications: Crestron, Extron Certifications
* Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Haivision control system programming.
* Familiarity with GUI design and graphics applications.
* Experience working in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility.
* Experience supporting Special Operations.
