Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain the OS environments for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) IT Infrastructure Support Services (ITIS). This position will be located in DC and will be an onsite position. This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities:
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining the OS environments for Federal agencies. Skillsets include OS performance, reliability, and security by configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing systems. Ability to manage Windows and Linux OSs and conduct system updates, patches, and user permissions, as well as supporting automation of system tasks through scripting. Ability to collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OS components with application software, ensuring seamless operation and addressing technical issues as they arise, and development of SOPs for operational tasks.
Qualifications:
Required: 5-7 years' experience. Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Current ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner v.4 certifications.
Desired: Current DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.
