Overview: Job Title: JRSS Network Engineer I Job Location: Scott AFB, IL Responsibilities: Trace Systems is recruiting for a Network Engineer I to join our team supporting the DISA-provided JRSS capabilities and services in a 24 x 7 Global Network Support Center. * Responsible for overall network engineering support for customer programs including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the DISA Enterprise Network. * Solve routine technical problems following established procedures and policies * Work directly with Engineering team to provide specifications for network architecture, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network related issues through monitoring, testing, and servicing network equipment. The anticipated annualized compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000, based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Qualifications: * Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. * Due to the nature of the work and US Government requirements, US Citizenship is required. * Must possess a DoD-8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent) at the time of start. * Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including rotating shifts. * Demonstrated experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and service restoration. * Expertise in one or more of the following: routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, CISCO, Juniper. * General understanding of network topologies.
