Network Administrator 2

				Overview:

The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining network solutions.

This position is remote in Brazil. Time zone will be Acre Time (ACT) UCT -5.

Responsibilities:

* Establishes networking environment by implementing system configuration, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
* Follow standards for internal documentation; ensure consistency with documentation for network systems and procedures.
* Secures network system by enforcing procedures with minimal oversight from other team members.
* Respond to and resolve reported network issues with oversight from other team members.
* Implement and maintain recovery procedures for systems with oversight from other team members
* Monitor systems for anomalies and disruptions, and respond accordingly with minimal oversight from team members.
* Gathers information for audits of network devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines.
* Provide input for innovative and assist in implementation of effective and successful changes to processes or technology.

Qualifications:

* High School diploma, or equivalent
* Fluent in the English language
* Experience as a Network Administrator
* Good experience in systems administration
* Good experience with Linux Operating systems
* Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
* Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
* Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
* Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Driven to learn and stay current with technology
* Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.)
* Sharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude
* Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
* Knowledge of in route, switch, and firewall technologies
* Knowledge of in load balancing technologies
* Knowledge of in Microsoft products
* Knowledge of in Linux operating systems
