Overview: Provide Quality Care and Leadership in Washington Wine Country! Responsibilities: Serve as Medical Director for the Yakima NICU. This role comes with a $35,000 annual leadership stipend and provides the chance to guide a vital regional program serving rural families across South Central Washington. The Medical Director will maintain a full complement of core Neonatology clinical duties while also providing administrative and strategic leadership to support the growth and stability of the practice. * Recruitment & team development * Quality initiatives and program development * Business and operational oversight * Community and regional representation About the Practice MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH) is home to a 15-bed Level IIIA NICU serving as the regional perinatal center for Yakima County and several surrounding counties. It is the only Level III NICU within a 70‑mile radius, providing indispensable support to multiple rural and critical access hospitals. * 2500 deliveries annually * ADC of about 5 patients * Currently offering conventional mechanical ventilation and bubble CPAP * Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists provide consultation, neurodevelopmental assessments, and recommendations for developmentally supportive therapies.
