Overview: Per Diem opportunity for an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL!! Responsibilities: Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist to provide per diem coverage at Wellington Regional Medical Center. Your Role at a Glance * Staffing Model: * 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage * 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day * 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours * Responsibilities: * Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery * Attend high-risk deliveries * Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care About Wellington Regional Medical Center WRMC is a 233-bed acute care hospital serving western Palm Beach County. It offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU, with a focus on: * Evidence-based protocols * Neonatologist-attended high-risk deliveries * Specialized care for 23-30 week premature infants Qualifications: * Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required * Active FL license or IMLC required
