Responsibilities: Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join an established, collegial, neonatology practice serving the Salt Lake City metro area. This established practice provides coverage across a combination of Level III and Level II NICUs, offering an excellent mix of acuity, autonomy, and work-life balance. About the Role: Support a varying level of acuity with the NICU * St. Mark's Hospital - Salt Lake City * Level III NICU * 25 NICU beds with an average daily census of 15 * Provides comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns, including conventional and ECHMO, HFOV), iNO, therapeutic hypothermia, advanced imaging, and in‑house neonatal subspecialty support * Best Hospitals for Maternity Care (Money & The Leapfrog Group) * Long‑standing Pediatrix presence with a stable, experienced team * Jordan Valley Medical Center * Level III NICU * 20 NICU beds with an average daily census of 12 * Only Level III NICU serving the west side of the Salt Lake Valley, with modern, private‑room NICU design and advanced monitoring and ventilatory technology * Telephonic support at the Level II West Valley campus * Lone Peak Hospital - Draper * 13‑bed NICU, recently upgraded from Level II to Level III * Growing regional demand and increased neonatal acuity, while maintaining a community‑focused practice environment Subspecialty & Maternal Support * Pediatrix Neonatology of the Mountain States supports 8 physicians within the practice * Strong collaboration with Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians across the system * Collectively, these hospitals deliver a balanced patient mix that includes late‑preterm and term infants with appropriate transfer pathways for rare surgical or ECMO‑level cases.
