Responsibilities: Exciting opportunity for a neonatologist at St. Joseph Medical Center, a busy high acuity Level-III NICU in the downtown medical center area of Houston! * 3400 plus annual deliveries * OB residency program with OB residents, OB anesthesia and faculty attendings in-house 24/7 * 3 neonatologists sharing 24-hour shifts with out of house night coverage, response time 30 minutes or less * 24/7 NNP in-house coverage; neonatologists called in on an as needed basis at night. * Pediatric hospitalists see normal newborns * Pediatric surgery consultation available and access to a broad range of sub-specialty support Houston is the largest city in the State of Texas offering a thriving economy, an affordable housing market and excellent public and private schools and universities.
