Neonatologist Position - Flint, MI
Responsibilities:
Pediatrix offers an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join a well-established team of experienced providers at Hurley Children's Hospital in Flint, Michigan. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic, academic-minded environment with strong clinical support. Physicians on a J‑1 visa are encouraged to apply.
Neonatologist Practice Highlights
* 44-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of approximately 30 patients - busy neonatology environment
* Regional referral center providing a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialty services
* Neonatology responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, evaluating critically ill neonates, and providing comprehensive neonatal care
* Active residency programs onsite, including OB/GYN, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine
* 24/7 in-house pediatric resident coverage supporting patient care and education
* Close collaborative relationships with the University of Michigan and Wayne State University
* Participation in the Vermont Oxford Network (VON) with strong performance across multiple quality metrics
* Robust research opportunities available for interested neonatologists
