Responsibilities:

Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital (RWCH), is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatologist to join our growing team in Alexandria, Louisiana.

* Collaborative 2 Neonatologist / 4 NNP model
* NNPs in-house 24 hours a day
* Home call for Neonatologists after rounds
* 1,500-2,000 deliveries annually
* Newborn nursery rounds
* NNP-led transport team (physician covers in-house during transports)

You'll be part of a collegial, evidence-based team focused on quality-driven protocols and continuous improvement in neonatal care.
About the Facility:
Located within Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital:

* Central Louisiana's largest and most advanced NICU
* The region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
* A 19-bed pediatric unit, 29-bed well-baby nursery, and 26-bed OB/post-partum unit
