Overview: A Diamond in the Rough Neonatology Opportunity in KS Responsibilities: Our well respected and established neonatology practice in Wichita, KS, is recruiting for a neonatologist who is interested in an evolving QI team based management opportunity. * 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center * 24-hour in-house coverage in our Level-III, 60-bed NICU * 6,000 deliveries each year at the hospital * The intensive and special care units average around 1,000 admissions annually, with an average daily census of 54 * All services except ECMO and heart surgery * Supported by residents and nurse practitioners * Affiliated with KU School of Medicine - Wichita, offers extensive QI and research opportunities * J1 VISA sponsorship available * Lucrative base + bonus compensation package About the Area Wichita is the largest city in the State of Kansas and is known for its breathtaking sunsets, friendly residents, 4-season climate with lots of sunshine, remarkable affordability and ease of getting around.
