Responsibilities:

Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well-established practice in San Jose, CA.

* Good Samaritan Hospital has a level III NICU with an average daily census of 15 and has 40 - 50 VLBW admits per year.
* In addition to our affiliated group of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists, there is good pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery.
* Services provided include high frequency ventilation, body cooling and iNO is available.
* There is an active maternal and neonatal transport program.
* The hospital is a Regional Perinatal Center and is certified by California Children's Services as a Level-III NICU and as a Neonatal Surgery Center.
* Coverage is also provided at a nearby level II NICU.
* The practice belongs to the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative and participates in Pediatrix QI programs as well as other projects in collaboration with academic institutions.
