Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)

				Overview:

MEDNAX is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established practice of 9 neonatologists and 7 NNPs, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

* East Tennessee Children's Hospital is a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU
* Our average daily census of 50 and a new state-of-the art unit 
* Responsibilities include caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
* There are approximately 7,000 deliveries per year and the hospital provides strong pediatric subspecialty support
* Services provided include high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide 
* 8 hour shifts; 24 hour shifts are possible

Qualifications:

* Current APRN national specialty certification
* Minimum of a master's degree
* TN license required
* Local candidates preferred
