Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Level III and Newborn Nursery - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner- South Florida - 12-hour Shifts

Responsibilities:

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to support both our Newborn Nursery and expanding Level III NICU, while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida's most desirable communities.

Your Role at a Glance
* Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
* Staffing Model:
* 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
* 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
* 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours

* Responsibilities:
* Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
* Attend high-risk deliveries
* Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
