Responsibilities:

Pediatrix(r) Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to become part of our well-established and collaborative team serving Plant City.
Position Highlights
* Primary Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City - a brand-new, state-of-the-art Level II NICU opened in Spring 2024
* Additional Opportunities: Rotate through the 76-bed Level IV NICU at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa
* Schedule: 10 shifts/month, including 16-hour night shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts
* Coverage Model: 24/7 in-house delivery room and newborn care across BayCare hospitals
* Team-Based Approach: Night coverage provided by either a neonatologist or NNP; normal newborn care supported by both neonatologists and pediatricians
* Collaborative Team: 16 neonatologists, 5 neonatal hospitalists, and 14 NNPs serving Hillsborough and Pinellas counties

Qualifications:

* Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
* Minimum of a master's degree
