Responsibilities: Pediatrix(r) Medical Group is excited to welcome a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to its growing practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the nationally recognized Orlando Health system. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a young, expanding neonatal program while enjoying the support of one of the country's premier health systems. The Practice & Clinical Environment * Brand-new hospital, opened January 2025 * Projected 1,000 annual deliveries, with an average daily census of 6-7 in the newborn nursery * Level II NICU with projected ADC of 5-6 by year-end, expanding to support 2,000 annual deliveries with 24/7 coverage * Collaborative care model alongside a dedicated team of neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric hospitalists * Flexible scheduling with a mix of 12- and 24-hour shifts, no need to rotate through Winnie Palmer * Full clinical support from the team at Orlando Health flagship NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level IV NICU About Lake Mary Hospital & Orlando Health * 124-bed, state-of-the-art hospital with a strong emphasis on women's health * Comprehensive labor and delivery services with a growing neonatal program * Backed by the depth and expertise of Orlando Health, consistently recognized for clinical excellence * Orlando Health has received numerous national and international accolades, including "Best Children's Hospital" in Neonatology by U.S. News & World Report Why Lake Mary, Florida?
