Overview: Per Diem Neonatal Hospitalist position in Fort Myers, FL! Responsibilities: Pediatrix(r) Medical Group seeks an experienced, Board Certified (in Pediatrics with recent Neonatal experience) to provide per diem coverage at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The hospital's NICU offers: * State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU * The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year * Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service * Primary responsibilities include managing Level II NICU patients (not responsible for attending high risk deleiveries) * All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage * 24-hour NNP coverage * Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs * We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit * Our core values support a culture of life-long learning and professional growth * Shifts are 6-8 shours (varies regarding daily census and case complexity) Qualifications: * Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent Neonatal experience required * Active FL license or active IMLC required
