Nature Aide | Nature Center | Part Time

				Overview:

To promote Omni Amelia Island Resort's unique natural environment to our resort guests, club members and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities:

* To assist in conducting various nature tours and programs - both off property and day excursions.
* Planning and conducting nature crafts and activities, implementing new interpretive and new educational programs.
* To assist in the care and cleaning of exhibits and program animals.
* Ensure the nature center is kept clean and inviting to guests.
* Knowledge of flora and fauna of a coastal marine environment.
* To assist naturalists in animal rescues as well as transporting to rehab facilities.
* Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the nature center ,back deck and kayak storage area.
* Responsible for the care and upkeep of equipment (binoculars, fishing poles, water quality testing equipment, kayaks, etc).

Qualifications:

* Able to lift and lift up to 60-100 pounds occasionally and 30-50 pounds repeatedly.
* Able to swim, stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time.
* Must be able to hear, smell, have good or corrected vision and a good sense of balance.
* Associate must be able to walk throughout property, communicate verbally to our guests and able to multi task effectively.
