In this impactful role, you'll collaborate with passionate education professionals nationwide who are committed to supporting students with behavioral health and special education needs. As the National Director of Student Services, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Devereux's education programs and initiatives, including DESS. This is a unique opportunity to drive transformative change, foster inclusive educational systems, and champion student success on a national scale. Additonally, you will:
* Provide expertise on IDEA and federal/state education regulations
* Lead DESS personnel and national education initiatives
* Develop school-based mental health and day program opportunities
* Advise the VP of Education Services on national education strategy
* Represent Devereux as a thought leader at conferences and committees
* Support school directors with technical guidance, policy alignment, and budgeting
* Collaborate with districts and agencies to expand student-centered services
* Ensure compliance and promote legally sound, effective program models
* Foster cross-functional collaboration to align best practices nationwide

Qualifications:
* Master's degree (required); Doctorate in education, psychology, or related field (preferred)
* Valid or eligible for state-level education certifications (e.g., principal, supervisor of special education, superintendent letter of eligibility)
* At least 5 years of school-based administrative/supervisory experience
* Deep knowledge of IDEA, special education practices, and behavioral health in academic settings
* Ability to travel nationwide to Devereux centers in 13 states, with additional locations based on new business development.
