				Overview:

The National Account Executive will lead the planning and execution of Keurig Dr Pepper's DSD business in a specific banner(s) across Ahold Delhaize USA (ADUSA) to achieve annual joint business plan objectives and drive profitable growth.

Ahold Delhaize USA (ADUSA) is comprised of five leading grocery banners: Stop & Shop, Food Lion, The GIANT Company, Giant Food and Hannaford. This role will be responsible for KDP's DSD business across specific ADUSA banners, serving as a key customer leader and primary point of contact for the assigned business.

The DSD portfolio includes Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), Energy, Owned Still, Water and KDP's Partnership Brands. The National Account Executive will lead the development and execution of customer strategies across these categories, balancing KDP's business priorities with the needs of the customer to deliver sustainable, mutually beneficial growth.

The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of CPG experience calling on category buyers for a national or regional retail account. They should have experience leading a broader commercial team to develop the building blocks required to attain the Annual Operating Plan, interpreting syndicated and customer data to uncover new business opportunities, and selling win-win solutions to the customer.

This individual will partner closely with KDP's cross-functional organization and external brand partners to develop and execute strategic plans, drive strong customer relationships and deliver key business metrics.

This person will report to the Director of ADUSA.

Location and Travel:
The role is remote and can reside in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey or Maryland, with approximately 20% travel depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

* In partnership with the broader commercial organization, craft and execute strategic growth plans for KDP's DSD business across assigned ADUSA banners. Key cross-functional partners include Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Omni-Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Operations & Execution and Brand Partners.
* Serve as the day-to-day leader and primary point of contact for the assigned ADUSA DSD business, accountable for delivery of the Annual Operating Plan and achievement of key KDP and customer business metrics.
* Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with assigned ADUSA banners to drive sustainable, mutually beneficial growth.
* Own and manage key customer and partner brand relationships, confidently navigating complex dynamics, competing priorities and differing opinions to drive alignment on customer initiatives, internal guidelines and strategic priorities.
* Lead customer merchant relationships and negotiations with consideration given to both KDP and ADUSA's key priorities.
* Manage the promotional process from planning and development through execution, ensuring retailer timelines are met, deliverables are executed and timely communication is provided to all internal cross-functional partners, external brand teams and the customer.
* Represent the ADUSA business in internal and external quarterly, semi-annual and annual planning meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Joint Business Planning (JBPs), annual planning meetings and brand planning meetings.
* Utilize internal, syndicated and customer POS data to proactively identify gaps to AOP, develop data-driven selling stories, create and monitor corrective action plans and communicate results.
* Develop and manage trade spend strategies, including trade spend analysis, price/pack planning, promotional modeling and optimization.
* Partner with internal teams and external brand partners to ensure strong execution of customer strategies and maximize the return on KDP investments.

Responsibilities:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 5 years of CPG Sales or sales support experience with a national or regional retail account.
* 5 years of progressive customer management and sales leadership experience, including some people leadership.
* Experience with DSD and/or beverage categories preferred.
* Experience managing multiple customer stakeholders and navigating complex retail organizations preferred.
* At least 1 year of cross-functional experience outside of Sales (e.g., Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing, Sales Operations, E-Commerce).
