Overview: The National Account Executive (NAE) will be responsible for driving sales of Keurig Dr Pepper's (KDP's) Direct Store Delivery (DSD) portfolio and WD Coffee Systems within the Grocery channel, with a dedicated focus on Meijer. This role will lead strategic customer engagement, drive volume and profit growth, and expand distribution of key KDP brands and emerging platforms. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: * Serve as the primary point of contact for Meijer, managing relationships with buyers, supply chain partners, and regional leadership. * Address customer needs and resolve issues to drive revenue growth and profitability. Sales Strategy & Business Development: * Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for Meijer, leveraging market trends, internal data, and customer insights. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including whitespace expansion for emerging brands and WD Coffee Systems. Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Management: * Collaborate with DSD teams to optimize delivery operations and align with Meijer's expectations. * Integrate DSD strategies into account plans and streamline communication between field teams and national accounts. * Monitor DSD performance metrics and implement improvements based on data and feedback. Performance & Promotional Management: * Track and analyze account performance, sales metrics, and market conditions. * Lead promotional planning and execution, ensuring alignment with Meijer's timelines and trade budgets. * Customize marketing programs to support brand building and volume growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: * Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, and Category Management to execute joint business plans. * Ensure alignment across departments to support Meijer's strategic goals. Contract & Insight Management: * Negotiate and manage contracts with Meijer, ensuring favorable terms and timely renewals. * Leverage customer feedback, syndicated data, and POS insights to inform strategy and exceed annual objectives. Thought Leadership: * Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and assertiveness in driving results. * Act as a thought leader within the Commercial Team, fostering collaboration and innovation. Responsibilities: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. * 5+ years of experience in CPG sales or national account management. * 2+ years of experience with syndicated data tools (e.g., IRI, Nielsen). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). * Strong financial acumen and experience managing trade budgets.
