To continue our mission to serve the patients in the communities, our Twin Falls, ID team seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join our team.

Role Specifics & Qualifications:

* Full-time NP/PA position consisting of four 10-hour shifts/week.
* No call, no weekends
* Group is comprised of 3 Medical Oncologists, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Radiation Oncologists, Nurses, CNA, CMA and other roles that support the clinic
* State-of-the-art treatment modalities
* American College of Surgeons Certified Cancer program
* Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master's Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
* Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.

Responsibilities:

The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through diagnosis, treatment and coordination of care. The PA works under the supervision of a designated physician and in collaboration with a team of other providers and staff; promoting a culture of collaboration and support between all providers within the St. Luke's Clinic Medical Group and to support the model of team based, patient-centered care endorsed by physicians and advanced practicing providers within our medical group.

* Provide care through diagnosis, clinical judgment and management to restore, maintain, and improve the health status of the patient.

* Perform history and physical exams, acute and episodic care, order pertinent lab and diagnostic studies with interpretation and consultation. 

* Initiate and manage appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment within the scope of practice.

* Establish and document the healthcare plan and prognosis, maintaining records of each case that are sufficiently complete for any healthcare professional to evaluate and follow the treatment plan and subsequent outcome(s).

* Recommend strategies to assist St. Luke's Health System in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible; administer recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for system execution and identify opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.

* Interact with patients/families in a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality.

* Maintain professional relationships and convey relevant information to other members of the health care team within the facility and any applicable referral agencies.

* Accept assignments based on patient census, acuity, needs, and the qualifications and competencies of self and of other staff members.

* Attend staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required by the Department or professional certifying board. Report to work on time and as scheduled.

* Contribute to annual reviews of peer performance as requested, and assist in data collection, study methods and other development as assigned.

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, or as pertains to the position and specific department/specialty.

Qualifications:

-Education: Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master's Degree -Experience: 0 years' experience -Licenses/Certifications: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or other accrediting board as approved by the Idaho Board of Medicine. Obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
