Overview: NEW BRAUNFELS, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A wonderful family seeks a TEMPORARY PART-TIME NANNY to care for their two young children for 2-3 hours/day 5-6 days/week, ideally from 10am-1pm each day. The position is slated to start as soon as possible and will end in October. The children are 5 years and almost 2 years old. The eldest has Down Syndrome and both children are deaf but are aided with Cochlear implants. Parents will teach the caregiver basic signing. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, as the eldest can only walk one hand assisted and not for long distances and the youngest cannot walk. The primary duty is to play with the children and keep them safe. Pay is $30-40/hour. Qualifications: * BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE * UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED) * THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION * A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN * 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD * EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES * U.S. DRIVER'S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS) * MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED) * NON-SMOKER * MUST BE LIVE-SCANNED AND REGISTERED WITH TRUSTLINE IF YOU ARE CA RESIDENT * WILLINGNESS TO SIGN OUR NO-CELL PHONE DRIVING SIGNED GUARANTEE * MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.S. * WILLINGNESS TO COMPLETE OUR STOP THE SILENCE TRAINING UPON MEMBERSHIP
