				Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Civil E.I.T. to join our Municipal Engineering Group in Bryan, Texas!  

Join our Governmental Services team, which serves our public clients by providing the right combination of responsive engineering and consulting services through our comprehensive suite of in-house disciplines. Responsibilities:

* Perform engineering calculations for water, sanitary, drainage, and road designs.
* Lead design tasks with EITs, designers, and technicians.
* Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.
* Produce submittal ready package with plans, specifications, estimates, and applications to governmental and private entities.
* Coordinate with public and private utilities.
* Coordinate with other disciplines.
* Produce exhibits with proposed design and existing infrastructure to present to clients.
* Attend design meetings and construction site visits.
* Assist Project Manager with tracking project cost and schedules.
* Manage multiple deadlines with competing timelines.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited university.
* 2-4 years of experience designing road, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities.
* Engineer-In-Training License (E.I.T.)
* Proficient in design with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Ability to calculate pipe capacity, drainage areas, vertical curves, and horizontal curves.
* Ability to produce construction-ready plans.
* Ability to review and interpret prepared survey drawings/data.
* Professional Engineering license, preferred.
* Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
* Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
* Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations.
* Bluebeam proficient, preferred.
* Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development-related designs, preferred.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
