CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a Level V Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Turtle Lake area and surrounding communities since 1952. Through the years, the hospital has sought to continually upgrade the quality and numbers of services it provides. The hospital's affiliation with major medical centers and health care agencies has allowed it to expand its health care services through a network that begins at the local level. CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is equipped with 2 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed programs, and acute care services.

What You'll Do:

* Perform Core Imaging: Conduct radiographic and CT exams with precision, ensuring optimal patient positioning and the lowest possible radiation dose.
* Support Diagnostics: Provide radiologists with comprehensive patient histories and optimal images for accurate diagnoses.
* Ensure Safety & Quality: Master contrast material procedures, including consent, IV starts (with nursing), and appropriate reaction protocols. Contribute to department quality control and maintain state/federal accreditation standards.
* Patient-Centered Care: Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout their exam, from transport to completion.
* Operational Excellence: Manage image processing, proper coding, scheduling, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
* Team Collaboration: Share on-call duties, weekends, and holidays, fostering a supportive and flexible team environment.

What We're Looking For:

* A technically proficient Radiologic Technologist capable of independent work within established guidelines.
* Strong knowledge of patient positioning and imaging techniques for various body parts.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on radiation safety and image quality.
* Excellent communication and patient care skills.
* A team player willing to assist colleagues and support department needs.
