Overview:
Position title: Motel Cashier
Reports to: General Manager
Department: Truck Stop
Position Summary: Check in/out customers, maintains lobby areas, along with laundering all items pertaining to motel operations
Responsibilities:
Essential job functions (listing most important first):
1. Customer service
2. Set up daily cleaning schedule for motel housekeepers
3. Report all maintenance issue to manager
4. Check cooling equipment daily for proper temperatures
5. Be on high alert for any safety issues and correct them
Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate
Experience: Previous customer service position working in a motel environment
Required Skills: Must be organized and pay attention to detail
Preferred Skills: Prior customer service position
Physical Req. Lifting 30+ lbs, bending and reaching
