Responsibilities:

As a Monitor Tech, you will be responsible for continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes.

Every day you will meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation.

To be successful, you will demonstrate sharp observational skills, a thorough understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly and precisely under pressure, crucial for patient safety and timely intervention.

* PATIENT'S CHART:
* Prepares chart for admits.
* Prepares chart packets for unit use.
* Maintains chart in proper, complete order.
* Adds forms, as required.
* Places reports on charts.

Qualifications:

Required

* High School Graduate General Studies or or equivalenttechnical training, upon hire and
* Hospital/medical terminology experience., upon hire and
* Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
* Able to interpret dysrhythmias on the cardiac monitor

Preferred

* Acute care is preferred., upon hire

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
