Overview: Novant Health is seeking a Mobile Nuclear Medical Tech II (PET) to work in concert with radiologists to obtain high quality images and provide exceptional patient care at multiple facilities. #JoinTeamAubergine #NovantHealth. Qualifications: * Education: Associates Degree Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred * Experience: Minimum of two years experience combined in PET/CT and nuclear medicine Required * Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT-N and/or NMTCB Required CT Registry, PET Registry Preferred If not PET reg, appl must have within 24 mths hire. * Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing: impeccable communication skills, advanced knowledge of PET equipment operation, quality assurance and ability to troubleshoot as necessary; ability to adapt to various department cultures associated with mobile service facilities. Daily travel is required and flexibility with schedule change is necessary. Ability to modify patient care delivery based upon patient requirements and/or age specific needs. Thorough knowledge of multiple protocol requirements dependent upon service location. In depth understanding of radiation safety requirements and regulations with a focus of adhering to ALARA principles.
