Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

As a Mobile Crisis Therapist on our Mobile Crisis Response Team, you will be at the forefront of providing life-changing mental health assessments and crisis intervention to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Your work will take you to a variety of settings, from private homes to jails and hospitals, where you'll deliver compassionate care and ensure vital follow-up support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Comprehensive Assessments: Independently assess the mental status, risk factors, and clinical needs of individuals in crisis, making critical decisions that can have significant impacts.
* Law Enforcement Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with local law enforcement on mental health-related calls, offering expert clinical assessments, gathering essential collateral information, and coordinating with community providers to offer the best possible outcomes.
* Crisis Intervention: Provide emergency psychotherapy, evaluate the need for hospitalization, and determine the appropriateness of involuntary treatment based on legal criteria.
* Clinical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of counseling theories, social work practices, and relevant laws to offer effective crisis counseling, case management, and consultation services. Ensure all interactions are handled with professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
* Resource Coordination: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of community resources and make appropriate referrals to support individuals and families in distress.
* Follow-Up Care: Ensure seamless follow-up care and ongoing support for those in crisis, collaborating with community agencies to provide comprehensive, wrap-around services.
* Legal Interface: Prepare written reports for county attorneys and courts and provide testimony in civil commitment cases as required.

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:

* Must be licensed or license eligible as LCPC or LCSW in the State of Montana
* Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy
* The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company's exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment 
* Complete all credentialing requirements within the required time period, including but not limited to obtaining a National Provider Identifier (NPI), Medallion enrollment, Medicare enrollment, and any other necessary credentials as required for the role
* Must have valid certification or complete training of the following:
* First Aid and CPR
* De-escalation Training

It would be great if you had:

* Master's degree in related field
* Experience working in behavioral health
* Certified Mental Health Professional in the State of Montana

The standard hiring range for this position in Bozeman, MT is $41.66 - $44.56 per hour. The exact compensation will be based on factors such as years of experience, competency, and skill level.
