From bridge and structural engineering to civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering, Kleinfelder's collaborative Design Services create synergy across multiple disciplines. Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is looking for a detail-oriented Mining/Civil Site Design Project Manager to join our southeast engineering team. With expanding opportunities in the region and a variety of clients, the ideal candidate will join our high achieving, fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, but experience in mine planning, resource management, reclamation, and stormwater management is especially relevant. This is a hybrid office role and can be in: * Charlotte, NC * Raleigh, NC * Atlanta, GA * Jacksonville, FL * Orlando, FL * Tampa, FL Key responsibilities include: * Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, * scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality * Overseeing pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client * concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges * Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value * Nurturing and growing client relationships * Supporting the achievement of professional staffs' career goals Education/Certification: * Required, Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering * Preferred, Professional Engineer (PE) Skills & Experience: * Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction * Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships * Capability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts * Understanding of financial management concepts * 6+ years of related experience in mining or industrial projects, including 2+ years of project management experience * Consulting experience is preferred Move Forward with Kleinfelder: Kleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
