Presbyterian Medical Center Seeking a Stroke and Neuroscience Program Manager

The Manager of Stroke and Neuroscience Program is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects directed toward market strategic growth, development, and sustainability of stroke programs. The stroke programs contain complex activities that may span functions and facilities. Builds credibility, establishes rapport and maintains communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization. Assesses, plans, designs and implements comprehensive stroke certification programs and support other certified programs such as primary stroke and acute stroke ready facilities. In addition, assists with special projects related to stroke and neuroscience where regulatory compliance experience or exposure is important. This organizes educational opportunities and performs frequent data analysis with follow-up. The Manager of Stroke and Neuroscience Program strives to spend at least 50% of their time visible, present and available to team members who work with stroke patients to provide necessary mentoring, teaching, and support. The manager develops and maintains collegial relationships with providers, clinical educators and other interdisciplinary team members. Qualifications:
* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree required. Graduate Degree preferred.
* Experience: Three years clinical experience in stroke, emergency services, critical care, or stroke coordinator experience required. Leadership in related field preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. ASLS, SCRN, or CNRN preferred.
