Novant Health is seeking a dynamic Manager Pharmacy Medication Safety who is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating pharmacy led initiatives directed at improving the safe use of medications and medication use systems throughout Novant. The manager is also responsible for analyzing medication use systems, tools, workflows, delivery systems, and processes to ensure safety of the medication use systems. This includes developing innovative ways to reduce and mitigate errors in the medication use systems, maintaining productive working relationships and providing support to other disciplines upon which safe use of medications is dependent. Location of the job can be in Winston Salem, NC or Charlotte, NC with a mix of remote and in person. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree required. PharmD preferred. * Experience: PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency required. PGY2 Medication Safety Residency or three years Medication Safety experience required. * Licensure/certification/registration: Licensed to practice Pharmacy in the applicable state(s) and in good standing with the state(s) Board(s) of Pharmacy required.
