Responsibilities: * Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring individuals by maintaining engagement, providing feedback, identifying growth opportunities, providing career guidance, facilitating goal setting, identifying training opportunities, completing performance appraisals, and addressing personnel issues * Driving platform evolution through strong technical leadership and a proven track record of delivery * Providing timely updates to stakeholders on project status or roadblocks * Allocating resources appropriately for tight timelines and dynamic requirements * Driving agile development values and practices and fostering an environment in which individuals and teams are empowered and remain excited and motivated * Developing and promoting an understanding of the overall application delivery lifecycle and activities, including concepts around continuous delivery, DevOps, Metrics and Automation * Contributing to our culture of continual learning and continuous improvement * Identifying, creating, and fostering business relationships across departments and functions by working with the product organization and other stakeholders * Managing and maintaining Product Roadmaps in conjunction with Business Partners * Participating in and contributing to technical strategic planning, refinement, and execution * Demonstrating the company's values by maintaining a positive demeanor, being transparent, encouraging diversity of thought, and leading the team through organizational changes Qualifications: * BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience * 2+ years of experience leading or managing a software engineering team * 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering * Experience in managing complex systems, ideally in payment transaction processing * Experience with agile development practices and managing Sprint Ceremonies * Strong knowledge of Java and related frameworks * Strong knowledge of architecture and software design * Experience with Kubernetes * Familiarity with design patterns and principles * Excellent communication skills InComm Payments provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran's status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law. *This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program - Tier IV
