Overview: As materials engineer, you will be responsible to drive supplier for quality issue resolution to meet Keysight quality expectation, propose initiatives for cost savings opportunities thru re-engineering effort. The key responsibilities are:- * To develop Strategic Supplier's capabilities to effectively support Keysight's overall sourcing and technical requirements. Able to provide technical recommendations as per needed. * Actively explore and be able to source new technologies through market research to meet Keysight's future requirements. * To lead on cost saving initiatives project with PLs on alternative material/part recommendation and qualification plan that meet Keysight products requirements. * Influencing the product design to ensure materials manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain. * Collaborating with procurement and internal product team to improve/ sustain products and processes through technical understanding about material technology obsolescence and future road map. * To lead and work with suppliers for technical specifications study and perform root cause analysis to meet Keysight quality expectation. * Lead and conduct supplier audits to drive supplier process standardization and continuous improvement effort.
