Overview:
The Mental Health Clinician is a cornerstone of care, providing compassionate, individualized support through clinical and psychosocial assessments. This role delivers impactful group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation, empowering individuals on their journey to wellness. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the clinician leads treatment planning, discharge coordination, and ensures services are documented to meet legal, contractual, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
* Individualized Care and Treatment: Provides personalized care and treatment tailored to the age and developmental stage of each individual.
* Service Delivery and Documentation: Delivers treatment to individuals and groups, ensuring services are documented accurately and within established timeframes.
* Assessment and Intervention: Conducts required assessments and provides crisis assessment and intervention services as needed.
* Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participates in the multidisciplinary team, contributing to treatment and discharge planning for assigned individuals.
* Adherence to Performance Standards: Ensures all treatment is delivered in accordance with established performance and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Required: Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work or marriage and family therapy.
Experience:
* Preferred: Two (2) years of experience with the population served.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Required: Licensed or license-eligible in the appropriate discipline.
